Just listened to the latest Dictator and loved it...not just because Sounder is back... but because it expertly harpoons the bloated streaming whale that is everywhere these days.

In trying to watch the Packers yesterday, I went to Amazon's Prime Video, of which I am a member. Not good enough. To see the game, they directed me to Fox Sports Streaming where I learned that they were not showing the Packers-Bears game. Why the hell not?

But just by going there for a look-see, I had unwittingly subscribed to Fox Sports Streaming, or whatever the hell your character Sammy calls it. I had to go through a half dozen additional steps to unsubscribe.

So, yesterday's Dictator was spot on, both in content and in timing.

Bottom line: Screw Goodell and the NFL, although they aren't the only money-hungry, conniving, and streaming a-holes worthy of my scorn these days. There's a long list.

Well done. Dictator got me all worked up, which is the sign of a good podcast.

Keep up the good work, and my regards to Sounder.

Since I moved out to the middle of the sticks six years ago, I had a choice of satellite TV and satellite internet. That was it. Neither one is very good. Whenever Direct TV calls, I have learned not to answer.

If I were dictator for a day, I would do like Zelensky and make it permanent.

Now on the subject at hand. I quit professional sports sometime before the turn of the century, same time I quit the greatest majority of television. Looks like I am going to have to give up computers and cell phones also, since they keep coming up with "technology advances" that are not backward compatible anymore. Since the US government is now a corporation and not "of the people, by the people and for the people" anymore, it is ok for corporations to screw us.

Where is Ralph Nader when you need him?
